The Fitness Pilates technique takes time to learn - you will need to practise at home and attend several sessions before you feel comfortable with the technique ! Remember to work at your own pace - if any particular exercise hurts then stop, but please bear in mind that to feel the deep core muscles working may sometimes feel uncomfortable. Always ask if you are unsure about a particular movement. With an emphasis on quality of movement rather tham quantity, once you are in the correct position you need only perform one well executed set of each exercise, making Fitness Pilates a ver effective way of exercising.
